By using motion sensors, the room allows viewers to walk through a room pouring artificial rain without getting wet and the viewers themselves becomes performs in the physical space. The space allowed viewers to experience an everyday phenomenon in a completely new way.

What is surprising, refreshing, most interesting?

The Rain Room was a monumental installation and the role that technology that went into was never before seen.

Key Insights? What can we learn from this?

The installation allowed viewers themselves to be the performers and to move freely while the rain would move with them. It explores the role that science and technology have in very natural experiences and how human involvement can alter those experiences
