We Were Here is the free pilot episode in a series of cooperative standalone puzzle adventures. Two players are trapped inside an abandoned castle, with Player One confined to a small secluded part of the castle as Player Two roams the halls trying to find Player One. Every room challenges the players’ wits and ability to communicate clearly, using only voice through the in-game walkie-talkie.

Contributor notes

What is surprising, refreshing, most interesting?

The game tests clear communication skills and blind trust in each player to complete the puzzles. Sometimes it is able to bring out problems in certain friendships/relationships.

Key Insights? What can we learn from this?

Video games are an interesting form of experience design that can sometimes give a shared/collaborative experience that have more impact than just entertainment.
