In the past 40 years, the space for talking about sex has grown steadily under the nourishment of the growing commodity economy, sex education, and individual awareness. So far, the space for talking about sed in China has been strong enough to not be affected by shame.

Therefore, What about the next 40 years for conversations? we expect it to grow more freely, imagine its increasingly mature appearance, and foresee its strong tolerance to accept “sex” in various colors.

Contributor notes

What is surprising, refreshing, most interesting?

Due to the pressure of censorship, there is no much text to explain some parts of exhibition and leads some confusion for audiences .However, it still create a space for ordinary talk about sex

Key Insights? What can we learn from this?

In the past 14,600 days, China has experienced constant changes in "sexual cognition". With the diversification of information acquisition channels, people's perception of "sex" has become more and more three-dimensional. It is no longer a taboo that makes people blush and heartbeat, nor is it a scourge that can be avoided. It can enter the classroom, enter the law, enter the news, enter the public view, and become a conversation that can be mentioned at will after a meal.
